imagesPhil Markowski, a Guilford resident and Brewmaster of Two Roads Brewery,  will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about beer making.
Learn about the individual ingredients and how beer is made. We’ll talk about how the flavors develop, the differences between ales and lagers and how beer has evolved over the millennia.The impact of US craft beer on the world of beer internationally will also be discusssed.
Phil Markowski is an award-winning Brewmaster and 27-year craft beer veteran has created an extensive lineup that takes a unique twist on classic beer styles. Markowski comes from an engineering background. After dabbling in home brewing and winning a few competitions back in the 1980’s Phil made the bright decision to go into the craft beer world as a career. A long career at various breweries has led to dozens of medals from the GABF and WBC, along with many other medals at regional and international competitions. Phil also wrote the book on Farmhouse Ales, literally, and is thrilled to be in his dream job: working with friends to create a brewery from scratch.
Samples of beer will be provided. You must be 21 years of age or older to attend.
