javaprogrammingJoin UConn computer science professor Walter Krawec for this two-part series where you will learn basic Java Programming by creating a miniature game!  For its creation, you will learn several important programming concepts such as syntax, variables, loops, and basic object-oriented programming.  While we use this game as a motivational platform, the concepts you learn will be applicable to other programming tasks.

No prior knowledge of programming is required.  You may want to bring a USB flash drive to save your work to bring home with you, but it is not required.

Free and open to all students in grades 5 to 12. Please register for the first class on June 4th and you will automatically be registered for this class!
