Welcome to the Guilford Free Library Teen Winter 2018 Programs Page
We have a lot of exciting programming coming up this fall! Check out some of the highlights below:
Grill ‘n’ Chill Book Club
Friday, March 30 from 3:30 to 4:30 pm
What’s better than grilled cheese? Not much. Join this book club that combines two great loves: books and grilled cheese. Each month, we will read a book and discuss it while enjoying the cheesy, toasted goodness that is a grilled cheese.
Our book for this month is Dear Martin by Nic Stone. The library has multiple copies available for checkout prior to the first meeting.
Free and open to all students in grades 7 to 12. Please register.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be inside a video game? Do you think it’d be cool to easily transport to places around the world from your library? Come try out our new HTC Vive virtual reality headset and be totally immersed in various virtual worlds and experiences!
There will be 3 sessions per hour, each lasting 20 minutes.
Free and open to all students in grades 7 to 12. Registration required. Please call the reference desk at 203-453-8282 or visit us in person to register.
Thursday, March 15 from 7 to 9 pm
Free and open to all. Meets monthly. Please register.
