Please join the Witness Stones Committee for another installment of their book club. Community members are invited to discuss Colson Whitehead’s novel “The Underground Railroad,” winner of the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award. The conversation will be led and facilitated by Witness Stone Committee members Hazel V. Carby, the Charles C. and Dorathea S. Dilley Professor of African American Studies and Professor of American Studies at Yale University, and Donna Daniels, Ph.D., Management Consultant and Cultural Anthropologist.
Community members are encouraged to read The Underground Railroad in advance of the book club discussion. A number of copies of the book are available at the library. We hope to see you there!
