Feeling scattered during the Pandemic? Return to the present moment with a mindfulness practice. Guilford teacher Maya Schofield will lead this free 4-part series via Zoom.
Mindfulness is paying attention to the present moment, in a kind and non-judgmental way. Studies suggest that cultivating a mindfulness practice can have physical, psychological, and social benefits. Maya Schofield is an elementary school teacher with Guilford Public Schools where she teaches mindfulness to students, faculty and staff. She has recently completed the Teacher Training Program with Mindful Schools and is a certified meditation teacher through MNDFL NYC and The Mindfulness Center in Bethesda, MD.
Mondays, 4 to 4:30 pm October 26, November 2, 9, and 16
Please plan on attending all four sessions. Each session is 30 minutes. You just need to register once for the series (not individual sesstions.) You will receive an email with the Zoom link after you register.
