Join author and artist Patrick Lynch as he presents his latest book, A Field Guide to the Connecticut River: From New Hampshire to Long Island Sound. Featuring over 750 maps, photographs, and illustrations, the book offers an invaluable resource for understanding and appreciating the region’s natural environment. This talk will focus on how the Connecticut River and Long Island Sound form a world-class estuary system, supporting a rich wildlife environment that we all benefit from in the wider shoreline Connecticut region.

Patrick J. Lynch is an award-winning author, photographer, and artist. Lynch retired after a 45-year career at Yale University. He is the author of numerous books, including A Field Guide to the Mid Atlantic Coast, A Field Guide to Cape Cod and the Islands, and A Field Guide to Long Island Sound.
