The Disruptors: ADHD film & discussion

View the acclaimed documentary film, “The Disruptors”, which takes an in-depth look at the ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) condition, which is being increasingly diagnosed as the medical world gets better at recognizing and treating it.  Learn what the condition is, the different forms it takes, when to consult a professional if you suspect your child has it, and examine a variety of ways people are managing ADHD as adults and in their children.  Listen to interviews with celebrities who have ADHD, and explore the benefits in addition to the challenges of having a brain that functions differently because of ADHD.  After the film, expert panelists will discuss various points in the film and take questions from the audience.  Our panelists include:  Pam Murtagh, M.D. – Branford Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, Buddy Toth, M.S. – LPC, Mental Health Counselor with Guilford Youth and Family Services, and Jessica Gallagher – Health Educator.  Please register.  Presented in partnership with Guilford Youth & Family Services.  Tuesday, November 14th from 6:00-8:00pm.
