On April 8, 2024 there will be a total solar eclipse crossing the U.S. from Texas to Maine. Join Deborah Peluse as she discusses how solar eclipses occur, and what a spectacular phenomenon they are. She will present first-hand information and photographs about the differences between partial and total solar eclipses to implore you, if you are able, to travel to the path of totality in the relatively nearby areas in the U.S. such as PA, NY, ME, and VT. Viewing a total solar eclipse is an awe inspiring event that you shouldn’t miss.

Debora Peluse is an “eclipsophile” one who chases total solar eclipses. She has been a resident of Guilford for 52 years and is a retiree from Middlesex Hospital Laboratory. Deborah’s expertise in solar eclipses comes from traveling to 5 continents from 1959 to 2019 to see 12 of them.
