Mr. Krone is a versatile director specializing in opera, operetta, and musical theatre. He has directed productions across Germany, Belgium, Ukraine, and Bulgaria. Before transitioning to directing, he had an extensive acting career, studying under Stella Adler in New York. He performed in numerous television, theatre, and opera roles and was a long-standing member of the well-known “Werkteater,” where he directed and acted in over thirty productions.
Since the mid-1990s, he has focused on musical theatre, starring in several major productions. Additionally, he has taught drama and interpretation at Fontys School of Arts in Tilburg and the Conservatory of Amsterdam. His work has been featured in two documentaries: Aida Goes Dutch and Classroom 205.
