
In this one hour presentation, George Norden will share common misconceptions of strength training as we age and how to do so safely and effectively regardless of physical limitations to maintain, regain, or improve strength, balance and overall mobility.
George Norden is an exercise physiologist and owner of Joint Effort Exercise, has worked in medical exercise since 2009. Starting with a cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation internship at New Haven, CT’s Hospital of Saint Raphael, he now owns five functional strength and balance training centers for seniors. His mission is educating seniors on the types and quantity of exercise needed to maintain or regain a healthy, active lifestyle.
