The Guilford Free Library has offered continuous public access to the library since reopening in June. As the vaccine rollout proceeds and the local case rate continues to decline, we currently plan to be resuming our traditional pre-pandemic summer hours by June 21. This spring we will increase our hours while still maintaining some of the restrictions designed to keep the public and staff safe.
Beginning Monday, March 22
Monday & Thursday: 10 am – 2 pm / 3 pm – 8 pm
Tuesday & Wednesday: 10 am – 2 pm / 3 pm – 6 pm
Friday: 10 am – 2 pm / 3 pm – 6 pm
Saturday: 10 am – 1 pm
Sunday: (April 11 – May 23): 1 pm – 4 pm
Book Donations
We will also resume accepting book donations for the Friends of the Guilford Free Library on Monday, March 22. Donations will be accepted outdoors on tables set up by the parking lot.
