I am a representative watercolorist. The values in my paintings are strong as I try to capture the light and the beauty around us. Many of my paintings are inspired by local scenes. I love the blues of the ocean and sky in the summer months, and also the rich warm browns and golds of fall. Some of my paintings are framed in the traditional way, behind glass; some are finished with varnish to protect them from the elements.
