Event Details

Drop in for henna tattoos with “Z” Body and Face Art! Do some fun activities while you wait your turn for a tattoo, or have your tattoo done and head out, no need to stay the whole time if you don’t feel like it!

Henna, or Mehndi, is a traditional art form from India, East Asia, and the Middle East. Powder from the dried leaves of a henna plant is mixed with water and essential oils into a paste and applied to the skin. It was originally used as a pre-wedding ceremony, but is also done for fun all around the world.

Please note: henna tattoos dye the top layer of skin and can last up to 3 weeks. They do not wash off easily. Please plan ahead–if you cannot have a tattoo visible for an upcoming event, choose placement wisely!

Free and open to all in grades 5-12. Registration is required.
