
Celebrate Women’s History Month by joining us for a screening of Frida.
Frida depicts the life of Frida Kahlo, one of the most acclaimed artists in Mexican history, who is remembered for her self-portraits, for her portrayals of pain and passion, and her use of bold, vibrant colors. She is celebrated in Mexico for her attention to Mexican and indigenous culture and by feminists for her depiction of the female experience and form. She challenged traditional gender roles, beauty norms and societal expectations.
