In 2022 the 5 members of the Blue Rhythm Band came together.  Accomplished, experienced and dedicated musicians with a passion to authentically  recreate the music from some of the most storied blues artists of the past as well as the present; playing a mixture of old and new blues, blues rock and classic rock, as well as some of their own creation.
The members of the band, Al (bass), Joan (vocals and percussion), Jack (piano and synth), John (drums) (funkymeister) and Paul (guitar) have collectively played almost every major venue in Connecticut and the surrounding states. The BIG E, Durham fair main stage, Brooklyn Fair, The Daffodil festival in Meriden, The POCO festival in North Branford and other town concert series in 2023 plus a number of local clubs in Connecticut.
*In the event of rain the concert will be held inside the Library’s Meeting Room.
