My art is mixed media, my source is the sea. All of the materials in my work have washed up from the waters of Long Island Sound onto the shores of Guilford, Connecticut, and remain in their natural and original forms without any alterations. Most often, a single piece becomes the inspiration for a work, and each one has a story. A shard of Willow china transforms into a dress, a glass bottle becomes a silhouette, and a plastic remnant becomes a beloved storybook character.
