This Month in the Gallery

The Shoreline CT Modern Quilt Guild is a vibrant, diverse group of fiber artists who embrace the modern quilting movement. Recent works completed by Guild members will be on display from October 3 to October 30. These works include those created to meet a yearly challenge posed by the Guild.

The challenge for 2026 is to create a quilt using the color green. Green must be used in at least one square inch of the quilt in order to meet the challenge. The challenge encourages members to create unique artistic interpretations focusing on a particular theme.

Also on display will be other quilts representing the varied approaches that the Guild members take towards creating beautiful works of art, using fabric, thread, and embellishments. The opening reception for the exhibit will be held Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 1:30 to 3:30. Please join us to meet some of the quilters and learn more about the guild and the display!
