Richard Monaco attended East Haven High School and furthered his studies at PAIER Art School. His paintings have been displayed at the Arts & Ideas Festival in New Haven, where he won best in state at an early age.
Richard is a member of the Hamden Art League as well as the Madison Art Society. His concentration is landscapes and portraits working predominantly in oils on canvas and linen. Richard’s art has been commissioned by many private art collectors throughout New England. Together with his wife, they visit many state parks for subject matter.
