The Shoreline CT Modern Quilt Guild is a vibrant, diverse group of fiber artists who embrace the modern quilting movement. They will be displaying the results of their 2023 Quilt Challenge, entitled Pâtisserie, as well as other recent works completed by their members.
The Pâtisserie challenge encourages the members to create beautiful works of art, inspired by pâtisserie confections, that celebrate, communicate, and comfort, much as pastry chefs create their artful, delicious creations.
Also on display will be other quilts representing the varied approaches that the Guild members take towards creating their beautiful works of art, using fabric, thread, and embellishments.
The opening reception will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024, from 2pm-4pm. Please join us to meet some of the quilters, and learn more about the guild, and the display!
