It’s Summer Reading Time again!
Participate in this year’s Teen Summer Reading Digital Scavenger Hunt at the Guilford Free Library!
Teen Summer Reading will run from June 23rd-August 22nd.
This year you will be partaking in a digital scavenger hunt! On the Summer Reading start date you will receive an email from the teen librarian. This email will contain the map for your scavenger hunt. The map will be displayed on two google slide images just because we couldn’t fit it all on one. On the map you will find a path that goes through the entire map, and on that path you will see a bunch of footprints. These footprints represent specific locations in Guilford.
Your objective this year is to “visit” all the spots on the map and solve riddles/puzzles to earn tickets towards our free Summer Reading raffle. Winners will be announced at the Summer Reading Finale Party on August 22.
Raffle tickets can also be earned by reading books and attending programs throughout the summer reading game .
The Teen Summer Reading will officially start on June 23rd, but you can register starting on June 16th. Please visit the Reference Desk on the second floor of the library to sign up.
