Join instructor Julie Stepanek Murray for a virtual ukulele jam session. Grab your ukulele and play along – because playing is more fun when you do it with others. Lyrics and chords provided on screen. Participants will be muted, so don’t worry about how you sound!Â
Julie Stepanek lives in a pine forest in western Massachusetts where she raised a son and taught herself how to play the ukulele. Originally from Nebraska, she played in rock bands in New York City and holds a Masters in Philosophy. She has been teaching and making music at libraries, schools and senior centers throughout New England for the past thirteen years.
If you need a ukulele you can borrow one from our Library of Things collection. To borrow a ukulele contact the Reference Department or reserve one online and pick it up at the reference desk.
This program is free and open to all.
