Join us for this powerful story and performance: In the shadow of the gallows, on the morning of his execution, Brown composes a farewell letter to his abolitionist compatriots. He is confident that his death at the hands of slavery loving Virginians will hasten the end of the “peculiar institution” of chattel slavery.
