From Sinatra to Sting, Java Groove is a small 4-piece band with a big sound. It all started in 2015 by the founding members of the swing band, The Shiny Lapel Trio. When people ask what kind of music they play, they tell them, jazzy, swingy, ballady, kinda stuff. The idea behind Java Groove is to have a stripped-down swing band with the same effect and vibe of a horn section.

Long-time popular solo artists, T-Bone Stankus (guitar) and Brian Gillie (keyboards) have teamed up as The Elderly Brothers, serving up mint-condition “oldies” rock ‘n’ roll with pitch-perfect harmonies and soulful improvisations as fresh as the originals.  No sleepwalk down memory lane with these guys.  Their radiant renditions, audience interaction, dancing groove and dose of mischief make their ‘50s and ‘60s rock-hop repertoire a unique and contagious kind of fun, and a joyous celebration of some good ol’ fashioned shake, rattle and roll.  sh BOOM!

Join Laura Clapp, Pete Wilhoit and Marc Amendola for a set of rock covers and originals on the patio. This will be the third show for this exciting new trio, featuring local musicians who have toured extensively and shared the stage with legendary artists such as Sting and Howard Jones.
