Artificial intelligence is everywhere—but it doesn’t have to be confusing. GuilfordAI, a local team based right here on the shoreline, is hosting a hands-on workshop series designed for anyone curious about AI – especially working adults, and small business owners who want practical skills without the tech jargon.

Across four one-hour classes, participants learn exactly what AI is (in plain English), how to write prompts that actually work, and where tools like ChatGPT and Custom GPTs can save time in everyday tasks. Expect live demos, simple practice activities, and take-home guides you can use the same day.

December 2nd: Safety, Privacy & Trust — Learn clear do’s and don’ts, how to fact-check, and when to keep sensitive info out of AI tools.

Attendees will leave with a Beginner Prompt Guide, Top 10 Prompts for Local Businesses, an Ethics & Safety Checklist, and a Tools Starter List.

No tech background needed; laptops optional.

Walker Mulligan is a Guilford resident and founder of GuilfordAI, where he helps local organizations adopt AI safely and practically. He specializes in making complex tools simple—teaching clear prompting, Custom GPTs, and everyday use cases for non-technical audiences.

Henry Gunderson designs and implements approachable AI workflows for small businesses, using tools like Google Workspace and n8n to reduce busywork and improve consistency. He focuses on hands-on demos and take-home guides that attendees can apply the same day.

These programs are free and open to all.
