The theme of the competition this year is America’s 250th birthday. Show us what this country means to you through art. Create your own quilt square design using the white fabric and crayons provided. Turn in your completed square to enter the competition and receive a free ticket to the Guilford Fair. The quilting committee will heat press the designs to make them fixed to the fabric, then combine them into a special community quilt displayed at the fair.
This youth quilt design competition is open to anyone ages 7-18. Registration is required as quilt squares are limited. Drop-ins will be admitted based upon supply after registered participants receive their squares. The squares and drawing materials will all be provided at this program.
