Each month we explore a different social-emotional topic or growing-up milestone through picture books, discussion, and activities which are appropriate and accessible to young children. Caregivers go home with a list of further resources and the confidence to continue teaching empathy. In May, we will be discussing museums. We will read picture books about what museums are, their importance, museum etiquette, and how to support them. All registered participants who attend will receive a free children’s book on museums. This month we will be learning about all different owls found in Connecticut. Meet three different owls and a hawk, comparing their nocturnal and diurnal lifestyles and adaptations.
