Starting October 1st through October 31st, patrons of all ages are welcome to submit an original spooky story for our 1st annual CT statewide library writing contest. Submitted stories must:
- be set in Connecticut
- be a minimum of two sentences and a maximum of ten pages
- Not have excessive foul language or gore (think PG-13)
- Not be plagiarized or written with AI
- Not already be published somewhere else
The children’s (ages 6-11), teens (ages 12-18), and adult (ages 19+) departments will review all submissions within their age category and award a winner. The winner will earn a prize and their story will be published in the First Spooky CT Volume!
