
Join Crystal Gaudio and Jim Ballentine for a slide presentation on invasive plants. Crystal will discuss the identifying characteristics of species common to Southern Connecticut as well as methods and timing for their removal. Gaudio is a licensed landscape architect in NY and CT and founder of Guilford-based Rubus Landscape Architecture, specializing in ecological gardens, meadows, natural play spaces, historic public parks, trails and trailheads. She is a board member of the Guilford Preservation Alliance.
Jim Ballentine, a board member and Chair of the Stewardship Committee of Guilford Land Conservation Trust, will talk about how GLCT is approaching the challenges of managing invasive plants on Land Trust properties.
