This course is designed for students who have already completed the beginner’s course and have learned the use of nouns, articles, and regular verbs in the present and past tenses. Students should be able to communicate and understand basic interactions in everyday situations, such as introducing themselves and ordering at a restaurant.
The course offers a deeper exposure to the language, as the instructor gradually shifts to speaking mostly in Italian. Students will work with authentic materials, such as texts, news articles, interviews, and videos, to build conversations, expand their vocabulary, and increase their confidence in Italian.
The grammar focus will include additional verb tenses, the use of prepositions, and communication skills for practical situations like booking a hotel and giving directions.
