We are excited to collaborate with STEM for Others to provide classes in python! Join us for an introduction to the #1 programming language by creating simple games and practical projects!
STEM for Others is a non-profit organization that partners with local institutions to provide free after-school tutoring and mentoring in STEM subjects. The program, which is fully run my students volunteers, aims to supports community members by strengthening STEM skills and encouraging curiosity and explorations in these fields.
Free and open to all in grades 5-12. The classes are designed for students of all skill levels. Registration is required.
This program will run every Tuesday from 3:30-4:30 until the end of February. If you sign up for the first session, you are expected to come to as many sessions as you can. Please bring your school issued Chromebook. If you do not have a Chromebook the library can provide you with one for the class.
