Celebrate the beginning of winter on the shortest day of the year with stories, crafts, and activities for the whole family. The winter solstice has a rich history of celebration among many cultures, and we will learn about what solstice is and how it’s celebrated, then partake in several winter solstice traditions. For families with children ages 6 & up. Registration required. Friday, December 20th from 4:15-5:15pm.
One of the crafts will involve peanut butter, so please bring your epi-pen and inform staff upon arrival if you have a peanut allergy. There are other crafts that do not involve peanut butter which you may participate in instead.
