Led by Dr. A.J. Gagliardi and Dr. Jill Caruso, this Fall Prevention Program helps you understand why fall risk increases with age and what you can do to stay strong, balanced, and safe. We will discuss ways to improve hip bone density, enhance balance, and build strength, all of which play a critical role in reducing fall risk.
Participants will learn and actively practice evidence-based exercises proven to improve stability and decrease the likelihood of injury should a fall occur. While many people believe that weakness is an inevitable part of aging, this program challenges that myth. With the right guidance, effort, and consistency, you can remain strong, confident, and active.
Join us on this empowering journey to improve strength, balance, and long-term vitality. We encourage you to bring a friend or caregiver, as they can become an important part of your support system on the path to better health. We look forward to seeing you and helping you take positive steps toward a safer, stronger future.
Dr. AJ Gagliardi is a board certified chiropractor who is also certified in the state-of-the-art soft tissue system known as Active Release Technique (ART). As a Branford native for the last 28 years, he has seen the power of community and can often be seen volunteering his time at many local events. He travels nationally to receive advanced training in the field of chiropractic as well as muscle and joint performance. He believes that by truly understanding the needs of his patients he can design a unique treatment that provides faster pain relief and recovery.
Dr. Jill Caruso is a board-certified chiropractor and licensed acupuncturist who graduated from the University of Bridgeport in 2024. She is also certified in ART (Active Release Technique) as well as Fascial Manipulation. She is passionate about helping patients take an active role in their health and believes movement is one of the most powerful tools for healing. With a patient-centered, evidence-based approach, Dr. Caruso tailors each treatment plan to meet individual needs—whether through chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture, soft tissue therapy, or rehabilitation exercises. Her goal is always to reduce pain, restore function, and empower patients to live healthier, more active lives. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Caruso enjoys power lifting, hiking, kayaking, and spending time with family, friends, and her dogs.
