Summer Concert Series 2024

Our Summer Concert Series begins this week! Join us on the patio on Thursday evenings for stunning performances by your favorite bands.

    Long-time popular solo artists, T-Bone Stankus (guitar) and Brian Gillie (keyboards) have teamed up as The Elderly Brothers, serving up mint-condition “oldies” rock ‘n’ roll with pitch-perfect harmonies and soulful improvisations as fresh as the originals.  No sleepwalk down memory lane with these guys.  Their radiant renditions, audience interaction, dancing groove and dose of mischief make their ‘50s and ‘60s rock-hop repertoire a unique and contagious kind of fun, and a joyous celebration of some good ol’ fashioned shake, rattle and roll.  sh BOOM!

    The Harris/Roane Duo has the honor of being the first musicians to perform Songs for a Summer Night. This marks their 8th performance on the patio and they are looking forward to performing some new tunes, along with some of your favorites!

    Join local group Take Two and Call Me in The Morning on the Library's patio. This vocally driven band of doctors/health care providers play an eclectic mix of covers from the 60's - 2000's.

    Butter Jones is a local talent of prolific poet, singer-songwriters, with a unique sound that has been described as a blend of Indie Rock, Alt-Country, and Americana. The Band's lyrical storytelling is complimented by their musicianship and creative arrangements.

    The Subliminals is an instrumental jazz/groove project from southeastern Connecticut. The group is a collective of diverse musicians whose talent is truly amazing, bringing years of experience to each performance.

    Join father and daughter duo Phil Rosenthal and Naomi Sommers as they perform original and traditional folk songs at the Guilford Free Library.

    In 2022 the 5 members of the Blue Rhythm Band came together.  Accomplished, experienced and dedicated musicians with a passion to authentically  recreate the music from some of the most storied blues artists of the past as well as the present; playing a mixture of old and new blues, blues rock and classic rock, as well as some of their own creation.
