Weekend Wildlife: Backyard Buddies (August 17th)

Event Details

One Saturday each month, come to the library to learn about local & global animals & plants and meet wildlife/animals.  Our Weekend Wildlife series aims to broaden understanding of and compassion for the environment, wildlife, and domestic animals through informative and interactive presentations.  Open to ages 4 & up.  Registration is required for each individual event.  11:00am-12:00pm on the following days:  July 13th, August 17th.  Generously funded by the Allan Louis Loeb Foundation.

This month we will be learning about raccoons and other animals you can find in your yard and around town.  You’ll be able to see a real, live raccoon up close and get to know their unique intelligence and capabilities.  Presented by wildlife rehab and sanctuary Wild Over Wildlife.
