One Saturday each month, come to the library to learn about local & global animals & plants and meet wildlife/animals. Our Loeb’s Weekend Wildlife series aims to broaden understanding of and compassion for the environment, wildlife, and domestic animals through informative and interactive presentations. Open to ages 4 & up. Registration is required for each individual event. Generously funded by the Allan Louis Loeb Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to animal causes and named in memory of a great local champion for animal welfare.
February 28th from 11:00am-12:00pm. Cold-blooded animals need warmth too! Learn about some of the amazing animals that people often overlook when they want a pet, what goes into caring for them, and what their homes would be like if they were wild. Presenter: A Shedding Chance Reptile Rescue.
