Event Details

Read Pumpkin Jack by Will Hubbell, learn about the life cycle of a pumpkin, and begin the Pumpkin Jack experiment, which you can follow along in the children’s department throughout the winter and spring, while our pumpkin decomposes and sprouts into a new pumpkin! Then, carve your own Halloween pumpkin to take home. This program takes place on Thursday, October 1st from 4:00-5:00pm in the craft room, and is for children aged 7-11. Registration is required as space is limited. Be sure to wear clothes that you don’t mind getting messy for pumpkin carving!

This program is full. Please call the library at (203) 453-8282 to be added to the waiting list.
