One Saturday each month, come to the library to learn about local & global animals & plants and meet wildlife/animals.  Our Loeb’s Weekend Wildlife series aims to broaden understanding of and compassion for the environment, wildlife, and domestic animals through informative and interactive presentations.  Open to ages 4 & up.  Registration is required for each individual event.  Generously funded by the Allan Louis Loeb Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to animal causes and named in memory of a great local champion for animal welfare.

March 21st from 11:00am-12:00pm.  Why did the chicken cross the road?  You can ask one yourself!  Meet some furry and feathered friends that live down on the farm and learn about how they’re cared for and what their jobs may be, including:  a chicken, a duck, a rabbit, a guinea pig, a pigeon, a cockatiel, a hedgehog, and more!  Presenter:  Xen’s Critters.
