Event Details

Have you ever wondered how scientists get a sample of DNA from a plant, animal, or other organism? All living organisms have DNA, it is the blueprint for almost everything that happens inside cells. During this month’s STEM Storytime, we will read and learn about DNA, then extract DNA from a strawberry and observe it under a microscope! This program is for children aged 7-11, and will take place on Thursday, August 6th from 1:00-2:00 pm. Registration is required as space is limited.

This program is full. Please call the library at (203) 453-8282 to be added to the waiting list.
