While it’s good to go to the library any day, Take Your Child To The Library Day is a special nationwide celebration of all things library! This national initiative started here in Connecticut to encourage people everywhere to see all the things the library has to offer for children of all ages. It is celebrated on the first Saturday in February, though some libraries vary. Libraries offer a variety of activities that day, from big events to casual drop-ins.
This year, Guilford Free Library is hosting our Weekend Wildlife on TYCTTLD for added fun at 2:00pm (registration required). Our casual drop-in activity is a group sticker mosaic in the children’s room for all ages to come and have a hand in completing a fun mystery picture.
