One Saturday each month, come to the library to learn about local & global animals & plants and meet wildlife/animals. Our Weekend Wildlife series aims to broaden understanding of and compassion for the environment, wildlife, and domestic animals through informative and interactive presentations. Open to ages 4 & up. Registration is required for each individual event. Generously funded by the Friends of the Guilford Free Library and the Allan Louis Loeb Foundation.
March 1st from 11:00am-12:00pm. What does it mean to be alive? Explore the scientific answer to that question with live animal ambassadors from several different orders of the animal kingdom. We’ll meet a chicken, cockroach, ferret, and more. Presenter: Hungerford Park Nature Center. Ages 4 & up. Registration required.
