One Saturday each month, come to the library to learn about local & global animals & plants and meet wildlife. Our Weekend Wildlife series aims to broaden understanding of and compassion for the environment, wildlife, and domestic animals through informative and interactive presentations. Open to ages 4 & up. Registration is required for each individual event. 11:00am-12:00pm on the following days: April 6th, May 18th, and June 8th. Generously funded by the Allan Louis Loeb Foundation.
This month we will be learning all about owls. Can you tell whooo! is whooo! when you hear noises in the night? Learn all about owls and their secretive nocturnal habits from Freedom First Wildlife, a raptor rehabilitation center, and meet some owls up close.
