Do you believe in Magic? Join local artist Samantha Barlow-Beamer for an hour-long workshop where you’ll make your own fairy house using material gathered across beaches, forests and fields in New England. Best known for her installation at The Florence Griswold Museum’s “Wee Faerie Village” Samantha will teach young artists about mosaic composition as students create a fairy house using shells, leaves, bark and plenty of glitter. Samantha is the artist and owner of Little Small & Co. and makes folklore-inspired art, accessories and apparel from natural materials. Tuesday, May 13th from 4:30-5:30pm for ages 6-12. Registration required. Space limited. This is not a drop-off program, so please plan to stay in the program or in the library.
