Nutmeg Book Club 2024: The Canyon’s Edge

Join us this summer for Nutmeg Book Club! Each Wednesday from June 26th to August 28th we’re going to be discussing one of the Intermediate Nutmeg Book Award nominees, having snacks, and doing some fun activities. For our first meeting, we’re going to discuss The Canyon’s Edge by Dusti Bowling. Then we’ll be making trail snacks and learning to tie knots for rock climbing. Please email the children’s desk about any food allergies. To get the full book club experience, it’s strongly recommended that you finish the book before coming to book club.  This event will take place on Wednesday, July 31st from 2:00pm-3:30pm. Registration is required and is open to kids in grades 4-6. When registering, please put the grade the child will be attending in the fall.
