Our 100-seat meeting room is available free of charge during regular library hours, to non-profit and community groups serving the Guilford community, for educational, civic, and cultural programs only.
We offer a variety of free and discounted passes to area museums and cultural attractions in Connecticut. Digital checkouts and reservations are now available for some passes!
The cookbook book club meets at noon on the third Tuesday of each month.
This group, led by Reference Librarian Lauretta Lyons, meets at 1 pm on the third Thursday of the Month.
The Library’s newest fiction group meets at 3 pm on the first Thursday of the month.
The Third Tuesday book club meets at 3pm on the third Tuesday of the month in the Historical Room of the Library.
The First Tuesday book club meets at 6:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday evening of the month in the Historical Room of the Library.
The nonfiction book club meets on the third Wednesday of the month from 2pm to 3pm. Please contact Lisa Coady if you are interested in attending a discussion.

The library loves book clubs! Patrons are invited to join a book club, browse our book club collection or request support services for your private club.
Residents who are homebound, because of illness, disability, or advanced age may request volunteer delivery of library materials
Planning a visit to NYC or Boston? Take advantage of the Library’s museum passes and get in for free! Pick up at the reference desk. We also have Connecticut museum passes available online and in the children’s room.
Librarians can proctor tests and examinations for online learning programs, professional development, and continuing education. Call the Reference Department to arrange this service in advance.
The library offers five study/meeting rooms for quiet work or small group meetings.
