Join our book club where we cook and discuss books! The first hour, we’ll be in the kitchen cooking up something delicious, and the last half hour, we’ll eat our creations and talk about books. This month we’ll be making food imposters in honor of April Fool’s Day.

Free and open to all in grades 5-8. Registration is required.

Each month we explore a different social-emotional topic or growing-up milestone through picture books, discussion, and activities which are appropriate and accessible to young children. Caregivers go home with a list of further resources and the confidence to continue teaching empathy. In May, we will be discussing museums. We will read picture books about what museums are, their importance, museum etiquette, and how to support them. All registered participants who attend will receive a free children’s book on museums.
