Step into the spotlight and ignite your creativity.

The GFL and Wilder Moon Collective’s Wildfire Workshop invites teens into a welcoming, collaborative space where acting and improvisation become tools for self-expression, connection, and growth. Through guided ensemble work, imaginative storytelling, and gentle performance exploration, participants are encouraged to follow their curiosity, take creative risks, and discover their own voice—at their own pace.

Half 1 – Stage Comfort & Voice
We start with a simple but empowering ritual: plugging in the mic, doing a sound check, and giving each student the opportunity to take the stage.

Half 2 – Ensemble Creation
We read a short poem as a group, then split into smaller teams of “actors” and “directors.” Each group responds with a mix of movement, spoken word, comedy, or music to create a collective performance.

Free and open to all all grades 5-12. Registration is required.

Led by Dr. A.J. Gagliardi and Dr. Jill Caruso, this Fall Prevention Program helps you understand why fall risk increases with age and what you can do to stay strong, balanced, and safe. We will discuss ways to improve hip bone density, enhance balance, and build strength, all of which play a critical role in reducing fall risk.
