Butterfly release days are to be determined, based on how many monarch caterpillars we find and successfully raise from our gardens, when they decide to emerge, and weather. Register below if you want to be informed of when butterfly releases are happening.
Plant and care for the library’s native plant butterfly and pollinator garden! Learn about the importance of native plants and how you can help. Do crafts and participate in citizen science/community science activities, where ordinary citizens/community members help scientists by gathering local data. Help the library raise monarch caterpillars to be released as butterflies at the end of the summer.Â
